what words would you use to describe this website (thefazz.com)? what words would i use to describe it? this is important for me to improve the overall design (look and feel) and content (erm.. stuff).

i would go with what the "as is" description should be, as well as "should be" description.

my own thoughts are -

minimalist
simple
clean
technology
beauty
speed (cars & racing)
fun
playful
not serious
progressive
nostalgic? classic? - can this live with progressive & technology?

I've had some feedbacks from visitors that the current design (as of May 06) is so plain (the burnout theme). Some prefer the older design. Fair comment. Appreciate more comments along these lines in terms of:

* looks
* usability
* clarity
* appropriateness (to the subject content)

I am still experimenting with web design, layouts and presentation - so feedback is always great for my own improvement. But also if you have certain design / publishing skills with strong knowledge of CSS (cascading style sheets), and some knowledge of PHP (not critical), then please let me know. 'Coz I need HELP! :)

1. minimalist... ok. have hidden most of the menu options in the top menu (nice_menu module).
2. simple - as above
3. clean - as above. prefer to use whites as it gives the site a clean look
4. technology... tough one this. the soaring sky perhaps?
5. beauty - the sky in its majestic beauty
