Musical tastes in tune with who you are ~ TheFazz

source site - Musical tastes in tune with who you are

Fans of heavy metal music are gentle, creative people who are at ease with themselves, which makes them very similar to fans of classical music.

That's the finding of a new study at Scotland's Heriot-Watt University of the link between peoples' personalities and their choice of music.

Craig Armstrong ~ TheFazz

i recently came across the music of composer craig armstrong who has done some fantastic scores.

i only discovered his music through top gear's review of the E60 BMW M5 (search for top gear M5 if you can't find the video)... when Jeremy Clarkson presses the "M" button to unleash motoring perfection - to the tune of Armstrong's amazingly rousing score "Escape". i did a bit of search and found the title of the score - courtesy of the YouTube comments to the Top Gear video clip. I also found that the score was used in the Halo 3 game release.

it is a fantastic piece of music. and through imeem, i found more of the music of armstrong...

amazing, the wonders of the internet! :)

Apple iPod Video makes waves ~ TheFazz

Apple iPod

If you'd browse my World News feeds (look for it on the top menu) you'd find some news of my own selection. One interesting news is iPod selling a million videos in 20 days. This is perhaps an important piece of news for the likes of aspiring online media companies. Currently the you can buy & download music videos and TV series like "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost" for $1.99 a piece. Not sure how big the one million downloads is in relation to the size of the iPod market.
